As a landscape photographer with a penchant for rugged beauty, the yurt offered a unique immersion in Iceland's untamed allure. the clear communication from Erwin and Solla, the welcoming owners, set the tone for a smooth experience. Arriving with my son and daughter, we found the yurt to be a cozy haven, complete with comfortable beds and plenty of blankets to ward off the chill. the highlight for my children was undoubtedly the opportunity to chop wood and light the fire, a hands-on experience that truly connected us to nature. The provided breakfast was a simple pleasure, setting us up for a day of exploration. Despite only staying for one night, the memory of us gathered in the yurt, huddled by the wood stove, will linger. the inclusive atmosphere of the yurt, paired with the enchanting surroundings, made for a truly memorable family experience. For families seeking a blend of comfort and adventure in the heart of Iceland's wilderness, Iceland Yurt is a welcoming retreat that promises a genuine connection to the land and each other.
